Hi guys! opening a new Contest! Hope it would be interesting for all!  I want all of you to join! Good luck for everyone!

Our contest begins today on the the 29-th of October and ends on the 15-th of December.




The Contest Task is: to draw any character from J.R.R. Tolkien "The Lord of the Rings", "The Hobbit" or  "The Silmarillion" or Witcher, Dark Elf -  your own choice . ONLY these fandoms are allowed. Or the original character from one of these fandoms with a description.
We want to see your own vision of any character you like.

The Contest Terms are: You can draw only one character on a picture. It must be original, just your own vision. You can even show characters in modern setting if you want. For example Fingon like a rock singer with an electric guitar.

CONTEST RULES


- You can not change the character's personality (For example good Sauron or evil Frodo would be declined)
- You can not draw characters looking absolutely like in the movies "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" or use the well known screencaptures, posters, photo and so on without changing.  

It must be surely mentioned in the description:
- character's fandom
- character's name
- what was changed and how did you show it.

How to submit your deviation:

1. Choose option "Submit Art"
2. Choose  folder "My Alternative Hero Contest" [link]
3. Submit your artwork

RULES OF SUBMISSION  


- Include the following to your deviation description - "This is my entry for the "My Alternative Hero" Contest on "
IF WE WOULD NOT SEE THIS IN YOUR DESCRIPTION  - THIS WORK WOULD BE DECLINED WITHOUT CONSIDERATION.
- We accept only 1 deviation from 1 deviant. If your deviation was declined you can't submit a new one or edit the existing.
- Author comments on the vision of the character are welcome.
- We accept deviations in digital, traditional, photomanipulation, 3D and mixed medias.
- Literature, photo and cosplay are not allowed.
- Artworks concerning BDSM attributes, gay, or having nude or erotic content are allowed.
- You must be a member of any of the following groups -    to participate in the contest.

We will not accept:

1. Unfinished works and works of poor quality.
2. Pictures of monsters, freaks, ugly beings, robots, sewed mouths, pictures with too much blood.
3. Fanart of any other fandoms, except the pointed in the Contest.
4. Old works. Your picture must be created strictly for this contest.
5. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden
